This interesting ca. 1920's pendant is made of brass but is hand-wrought. On the front of the pendant, the brass is white in color. The heavy oval cabochon stone is jade with marbling. The colors are bright green and very pale green. The polish is smooth. The stone is bezel-set. There is an applied floral spray at the top of the pendant with red, green, and blue enamel work, somewhat worn. A large bail (1/2" in diameter) is attached at the top; this pendant would be lovely worn on a silk cord. There is Chinese writing on the back. The stone is exceptionally lovely and in excellent condition. The pendant, including the bail, measures 2 1/4" long X 1 1/8" wide X 1/2" thick.
