This beautiful round silver locket is marked "Danecraft Sterling" on the back. It dates from between 1945 and 1970, the period during which Danecraft a Providence, RI company, was making fine sterling silver jewelry. This locket has excellent workmanship, featuring an engraved fleur de lis on the front. It opens flat to reveal two compartments for photographs on the inside, both with their bezels intact. The locket is in such perfect condition that it does not appear to have ever been used. Included is a 16" sterling silver chain marked "Mexico 925." The locket is large, measuring 1 3/8" across. It weighs 19.2 grams.
