Here is a late nineteenth century (ca. 1880-1900) rose gold-filled bangle bracelet set along the top with about 30 rose cut Bohemian garnets. Rose cuts come to a point on top; this was the cut most often used during the Victorian era. The garnets are all prong-set and secure. All garnets are in fine original condition. The bracelet is small by today's standards with its 6 1/4" inside circumference, but it still will fit an average size wrist. The piece is 1/8" wide and 1/8" thick; it has a delicate look. The outer layer of gold has no apparent wear; there are no dents or scratches. The clasp is functional and easy to work; there is a safety chain. There are no marks. The bracelet was probably made in the U.S. Wear this bangle by itself or with other similar ones; it will stack nicely.
