This picture jasper ring from the American Southwest is of Navaho origin, although unsigned. The fascinating stone is an agate that looks like the landscape of the area where it originated, a rocky canyon-land. The mounting is a simple sterling silver one with a hand-cut bezel. The stone is 1 1/8" X 7/8." The ring is a size 7 1/4. It fits snugly and doesn't turn around on one's finger. The ring dates from the 1970's and is in excellent original condition. It weighs 9 grams.
