This soup bowl is English pottery with a flow blue transfer underglaze design. The pattern is called "Old Curiosity Shop" from the Dickens novel. The mark is otherwise too blurry to read, but I believe The bowl is midcentury and made by Ridgways Pottery, Staffordshire. The color is a lovely medium blue. The design features figures in the foreground with a tree, and a small cottage in the background. The border is geometric. There is gold trim on the rim of the bowl. The bowl is 7 3/4" in diameter and is 1 1/4" deep with a flattened rim. The bowl is in fine vintage condition with one tiny scratch and some overall crazing of the glaze. There are no chips, cracks, stains, or other damage. The glaze is very shiny and without any surface wear. This is a beautiful bowl. There are four of these bowls available, sold separately.
