This Roseville Art Pottery handled bowl is #180-8, pattern "Dahlrose." This pattern appeared during the late 1920's, around 1928. It has an Arts and Crafts style with its nubby finish and earthy colors. This bowl is mottled brown and cream with a frieze of cream, brown, and green flowers that circles the bowl just below the rim, which is green. The design is pleasingly soft; the mold used for this pot was slightly worn. There are two pointed handles, one on either side. The bowl is 10 1/2" long, 6" wide, and 4 1/2" tall. There are no marks; this piece would have had a stick-on label. The condition is excellent.
