These sterling silver screw-back earrings have no registry mark and probably date from before 1947 because of their backs. They are a very distinctive design and of excellent craftsmanship. The inlaid stone is ground turquoise and malachite; it is a lovely dark blue-green color. There are makers marks on the back, unfortunately mostly obscured by the addition of the findings. These earrings are probably from Los Castillo. Each earring measures 3/4" X 5/8" wide. They weigh .3 oz. They are in excellent original condition.
