From Jerry Fels of Los Angeles and bearing his trademark "Matisse" come this copper enamel pin and earring set. The pieces date from around 1960. The pin is in the shape of an artist's palette. There are colored areas in red, white, and caramel enamel that simulate paint daubs on an artist's palette. The earrings are miniature copies of the pin but mirror images of each other. The fittings are clips. All three pieces are marked. The pin is 2 5/8" X 4" (including the long copper "brushes"), and the earrings are each 3/4" X 1 7/8." All three pieces are in fine original wearable condition, in keeping with their age.
