Here is just what every elegant lady needs: a sterling silver darning implement for mending those gloves that were worn with every outfit, and many of which were intricately hand made. This glove darner is sterling silver with a pretty geometric design worked across the center bar. The ball ends are slightly different; one is rounded and one is slightly pointed. The mark is that of Webster Sterling, a company that made sterling accessory items between 1900 and 1930. This sewing collectable measures 4 1/2" long and 1/2" wide. It is in fine original condition but does have a tiny dent or two.
