Bearing the Manchester Silver Co's mark of a shield with two eagles, this Victorian design sauce spoon dates from the early twentieth century. This spoon is the same pattern as my item #611AB; I cannot find a name. This company, located in Providence, RI, made no new patterns after 1950. The spoon is medium-weight and delicate with the ornate design indented on the back. One beautiful feature of the design is its extension into the bowl of the spoon, both front and back; another is the elegantly scalloped bowl. This spoon is in excellent condition. It measures 2 1/4" wide by 7 1/2" long and weighs about 1 1/2 oz. There is a monogram "F."
