This beautiful handbag has an Art Deco design made up of very dark blue and dark reddish-brown beads. The bag is gathered at the bottom and trimmed with a beaded tassel. The top of the bag is a brass frame with a bit of intricate bead-work. The bag has a 16" brass handle that has darkened with age. The original lining of the bag has been replaced with a new lining of pink silk. This bag dates ca. 1900-1920. It is in excellent condition with no issues. It measures 11 1/2" from the knobs tot he tip of the tassel. It is 6 1/2" wide.
