This Depression-Era bakelite pin is a figural one, a horse-head. This horse is a caramel color with clear swirls, giving the color interest and dimension. The pin has carved details, such as the mane, ears, and muzzle. The bridle has been painted black. There is a yellow glass eye. The pin shows excellent workmanship with careful polishing. The back is smooth. There is a white metal catch attached. There is no safety (typical of these pins). This pin measures 2 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" high. It is in excellent vintage condition with no issues.
