This handsome red, white, and blue quilt looks great with country furniture, although its simple design and primary colors lend itself to many different styles. The pattern is called "Rolling Stones," a pattern probably originating during the pioneer era when people were moving West. This quilt is 100% cotton and in excellent original condition. It may be washed when necessary (it is clean) in the washing machine and dried in a dryer, gentle cycle and low temperatures. The quilt is early twentieth century but before 1920. It was found in Indiana. It is entirely hand pieced and hand quilted at 7 stitches per inch. (The quilting may not be as old as the top. The quilt is puffy and may have a more modern, processed batt inside.) It measures 74" X 86" and will fit a full sized bed.
