This striking old Mexican silver piece dates from before 1947. The inside markings read "F Pichordo Taxco Mexico 925 sterling." The bracelet is a cuff with a hinge; the hinge has a spring to keep it closed around one's wrist. It opens to a width of 1 7/8" to allow one's hand to fit through. The cuff is solid sterling with the pieces of the raised design, also sterling, applied to the surface and soldered. The background areas are slightly darkened. The bracelet has been polished to a bright shine. It measures 3 3/4" long. It has an inside diameter of 2 3/4" and will fit a larger wrist. It may be worn higher on the arm if your wrist is a little smaller. This 1940's Mexican cuff is in excellent original condition with no dents, creases, or other damage. The hinge is good. It weighs 69.5 grams.
