These simple yet elegant, long-handled solid sterling silver pieces are from Lunt Silversmiths of Greenfield, Mass. They are in the pattern "Carillion, which dates from 1957. The bowls of the spoon and fork have a modernist look while the handles are very traditional. The open design is especially lovely on the cold meat fork. The spoon is for serving vegetables, with its open-work bowl. It could also be used to serve a casserole, for the edge of this spoon is serrated. The fork is 2" X 8;" the spoon is 1 7/8" X 8 1/2." Both pieces are in excellent condition with only minor wear on the bowls. Together they weigh 3.5 oz.
