Here is a vintage (ca. 1930-1950) stock pin in sterling silver. The design features a horse-head in profile (the horse seems to be smiling) inside of a horse-shoe, and then superimposed on a riding crop. There is lots of well-defined detail. This fun pin was meant to be worn on the tie, or stock, of a riding habit, but, of course, can be worn by any horse or riding enthusiast. It is light-weight, of molded construction, and can be worn on a blouse or even a T-shirt. It is stamped "sterling" on the back. It does have a functional safety catch and is in excellent original condition. It weighs 6.7 grams.
