This English flow blue 8" luncheon plate, made of semi-porcelain china by J.G. Meakin of Hanley, dates from around 1890. The pretty, gently flowed, dark blue floral pattern is called "Colonial." The delicate design is enhanced by a raised design on the china around the edge of the plate. This plate is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, or staining. There is crazing of the glaze. The plate measures 8" X 3/4."
