This English flow blue 7 1/2" cream soup bowl, made of semi-porcelain china by J.G. Meakin of Hanley, dates from around 1890. The pretty, gently flowed, dark blue floral pattern is called "Colonial." The delicate floral design is enhanced by a raised design on the china around the edge of the bowl. This bowl is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, or staining. There is minor crazing of the glaze. It measures 7 1/2" X " X 1 1/2" deep.
