Here is a hard-to-find flow blue teacup and matching saucer with no condition issues. It is ca. 1890 and made of semi-porcelain. J & G Meakin of Hanley, England is the manufacturer; "Colonial" the design. The edges of the saucer are sculptured for a delicate effect that blends with the deep blue flowed floral underglaze. The teacup is slightly flared and has a pretty handle; inside is a spray of flowers. There is no gold decoration. The saucer is 6" X 3/4" deep; the teacup is 3 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/4" deep.
