These chunky burnished copper clip earrings date from between 1950 and 1965, the years when talented California jewelry maker Jerry Fels was in business. The white and gold enamel work adds a Modernist touch to the simple round shape of these earrings. Each earring is marked with both of Jerry Fels' trademarks, "Matisse" and "Renoir," indicating that these earrings are top quality. They are in excellent original condition with no signs of wear. Each earring measures 1 1/4" in diameter. They are slightly different but there is a distinctive left and right earring.
