This set of four tin cookie molds are designed for ice box cookies. The cookies will come out of the molds in the shapes of hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades. The English spelling of "moulds" is a clue to their country of origin, England. They date from the 1920's or 1930s. They come with part of their original paper box, which has partially disintegrated. Included is the lid and three sides with their Art Deco advertisements and illustrations. These Ateco molds will create cookies that are the "Ace of the Party." No fuss, no bother, no rolling pin. Mix'em! Freeze'em! Slice'em! If there was a recipe included, it is missing. But ice box cookie recipes are available on line. This is a fun collectible; the Art Deco illustrations of couples playing cards are well done. Each mold measures 9" long, 3" wide, and 1 1/2" deep.
