This ca. 1920's necklace tests sterling but has no marks. It is a choker-style, measuring 1/2" wide and 16 1/2" long. There are three green onyx cabochons connected by twisted links set with marcasites. The polished cabochons are a very dark green but do catch the light. They are prong-set on silver mountings of good weight. Each stone is 1/2" wide and 5/8" long. There are four marcasite-set links. The chain is a pretty S-link and very sturdy. The clasp is a spring ring. This necklace is very feminine and looks very elegant when worn. It is in excellent original condition.
