A gorgeous amber cabochon is the centerpiece of this sterling silver estate ring. The stone is a clear, light reddish brown in color. There are several inclusions, such as spores and an air bubble. The stone reflects light beautifully. The 14 x 18 mm stone is bezel-set and accented with marcasites. The bezel is scalloped. This ring is vintage but not antique. It is marked "925" inside the band. It is in excellent condition with no issues. It weighs 7.4 grams.
