This Victorian (ca. 1890) locket is around 125 years old and in really excellent original condition. It is a 1 1/2" X 1" oval with a fancy matching 1/2" bail at the top. It is 1/2" thick. The front of the locket features a raised geometric figure set with three seed pearls. These are natural pearls; they are too small to be cultured pearls. All three still have their original luster. This rose gold filled-locket's raised areas are 10K gold-topped. The back of the locket is rather plain and unmonogrammed. Inside, the locket has two spaces for pictures. Both bezels are included. The locket opens easily by means of small bead finger grips. Included with the locket is a 27" long gold-filled chain. The chain is a good match but not original to the locket. I would consider selling the locket separately. There are no marks on this piece.
