This large, deeply-dished saucer can be used as a small bowl. It has a pleasing, dark blue transfer design, scenic in nature, that "flowed" during the firing and is consequently blurry. It is ironstone pottery from England's Burgess & Leigh Middleport Pottery and dates from 1891-1919. The saucer measures 6 5/8" in diameter and is slightly over 1" deep. It is in excellent condition with no chips, scratches or other issues on the front; there is crazing and faint staining on the back. There is no gold trim at all.
