Here is a fun costume bracelet dating from the 1920's. At first glance one assumes the metal to be sterling silver, but it is actually rhodium plated brass. The S-links of the chain copy a popular silver chain style of the 1920's. There are three molded celluloid floral "stones" that are a bright coral color, prong-set onto oval links, that define this bracelet. There are bangles available, but I have not seen a link bracelet like this. The molded design is floral in nature and each link is different. This type of celluloid was made in Japan early in the 20th century. This bracelet is very pretty and feminine. It is 3/4" wide and 7 1/4" long. The clasp is a spring ring that is in good functional condition. The piece is in excellent original condition. There are no marks.
