Here is a long purple cut crystal pendant necklace. The piece has been polished smooth with the edges beveled. The pendant is hexagonal across the bottom. It is 4 1/2" long with the base measuring 15/16" across. It has been cut a bit at the top and then drilled. It has been fitted with a gold-filled bail with a large jump ring. The chain included with it is a rose gold ladies' watch chain that measures 24" long and includes a gold filled toggle adding an extra 1" to the length. The chain has a pretty oval flat link and is in excellent condition with no base metal showing. The chain has a clasp but fits over the head without opening the clasp. The pendant is probably Czech glass; I'm not sure if it is pre-World War II or 1970's. The chain is ca. 1900. This is an unusual and interesting piece.
