These lovely silver and white enamel earrings are in the form of lilies of the valley. Each earring has three inverted lilies on silver stems of different lengths, dropping from a screw attachment. The lilies themselves are white enamel. The silver is not sterling, but is marked "830S." This is the pre-World War II silver standard (830 parts per 1000) of Scandinavia. It is not clear which country they came from, nor is there a maker's mark, but they are probably from Norway. The attachments are screws, which are found on the older earrings. The earrings are in fine original condition with slight damage to the enamel on one lily (shown in the photographs). The minor damage is invisible to the naked eye. Each earring is 1 1/4" long. The tiny lilies are only 1/4" X 1/4."
