This diminutive Native American pin is sterling silver in the form of a horned toad. His head, legs and tail are extended. The pin has a convex curved shape to suggest dimension; the back has raised balls to represent the rough skin of the creature. The pin is of cast construction and shows fine craftsmanship as to detail. This little guy has charm. The pin is reminiscent of a Zuni fetish figure. It is marked "sterling" on the back. It is about 30-40 years old and has developed a nice patina of age. There is a functional safety catch. The pin is in excellent original condition. It is 1 1/8" long and 3/4" wide; it weighs 4.2 grams.
