This ca. 1950 copper choker necklace is marked "Renoir Pat. Pending" on the back. It is from Jerry Fels of Los Angeles, who used the Renoir trademark for his copper designs. This necklace measures 16" long; it is a choker and meant to be worn at the base of the neck. It looks great with a black blouse or V-necked sweater. This design, Ebony Lace, has a theatrical quality. The recessed areas of the links are deep shiny black with the raised edges brightly burnished copper. There are clip earrings to match. The earrings are 3/4" wide. This set is in excellent original condition.
