Each bakelite bead has its own unique mottling or shading yet all together presents as one integrated unit.
Tested positive for bakelite with Simichrome.
The total length is 23" and is strung on a single cord (not individually knotted and usually indicative of earlier pieces). The back two beads comprise a screw together clasp.
These could remain 'as is' or be easily restrung as there is some looseness. If you look at front and back photo, you will see that from the front it looks perfectly and from the back there is excess cord showing.
The largest bead is 20 x 15 mm. The smallest, is 10 x 5 mm. All in egg-like/ovoid form.
