Over-the-top for some, just opulent enough for others, this Meissen pattern literally dazzles. Found at a Palm Beach estate (not Mar-a-lago) fit for a King or Queen.

It is no wonder that all the pieces in this listing as well as additional ones listed separately, are in pristine condition. There are no indications these pieces were ever used. No wear, no blemishes, no utensil marks. We did have to wash away dust that accumulated over time. Clearly never or very rarely used.

These 3 pieces consist of the 7 1/2" dessert or salad plate, and the large, footed cup and saucer. The heavily encrusted 24K gold rims are finished in two types of finishes - glossy and matte. This technique gives the pieces great eye interest. The manufacturing technique to accomplish this is labor intensive and pricey.

The saucer is 6" in diameter and the top rim of the cup is 4" in diameter.
