This is a beautifully hand painted teapot with meaningful pheasants decorating both sides. Brilliant gold trim and accents. The reddish color is rusty red.

Calligraphy signature found on the inside of the lid. The lid handle is in the form of a piece of bamboo.

Excellent condition with very minor age wear typical on an item over 120 years old!

Without the handle, the teapot measures 6" to the top of the lid, and 5 3/4" from tip of spout to handle. For shipping, the handle will be removed and separately wrapped for shipping.
