This fabulous ring features the Suffragette colors of white, green, and purple. The greenish tone of the citrine, the amethyst, and the white diamonds make up that triad. This ring might date to the Edwardian period but it appears a bit too modern to be of that period. Probably 1940s-1970s. All of the stones are faceted. The round, green stones alternating with the amethyst around the border are collet set while the amethysts are prong set as is the large top stone.
It is a size 8 1/2 and as you can see from the photos, the setting rises quite high from the shank. Beautifully designed and will be easily become your favorite to wear! The setting measures 1" across in width x 7/8" from top to bottom x 1/2" high from shank. The citrine in the top center is more yellow than green and beautifully clear.
It is hallmarked and marked 585 on the inside of the shank.
Definitely for the confident, bodacious woman!
