This listing is for a group of 3 sets of vintage Norwegian guilloche enamel sterling silver and cut glass salt and pepper shakers. Designed by Scandinavian silversmith Hroar Prydz, Norway circa 1940s-1960s. Beautiful cut glass base with threaded collar, topped by a .925 sterling silver lid decorated with deep chromium yellow guilloche enamel. Marked Sterling, 925S, Norway and the maker's marks for Hroar Prydz.
These are charming and meant to enhance any table or dinner party. They have only been lightly cleaned and polished and are in very good condition showing only expected signs of wear. There is are no damages to the gorgeous guilloche enamel on the lids or to the crystal. They could use a better polish to the silver then we were able to achieve (old, arthritic hands...).
Each measures 1 1/4" wide x 1 3/4" tall.
Please note that the pricing is for one pair. If you wish to purchase all 3 make sure you check off the quantity when requested on the order.
