A veritable tour of England on your wrist!
Clearly the gal who collected these charms was gathering them as she travelled the country.
Unless otherwise noted, each of the following charms have English sterling hallmarks on the reverse, the word 'silver', the numbers '800' or '950', or the words 'sterling silver'. Only one has no marks on the reverse. The spring operated padlock clasp is also marked on the reverse.
There are 52 charms in all. Many are from small villages and are very rarely seen. All are in excellent condition.
These are the cities and towns in the UK, Australia, Guernsey, Italy, France, and Austria that are represented: Malvern, Littlehampton, Jersey, Harrogate, Llandudno, Devon, Jersey, Tirol, Jethou, Beaumaris, Somerset Dunster, Bournemouth, Southsea, Keswick, Saltburn, St Annes on Sea, Brixham, Spalding, Ashford, Stranraer, Caernarvon, Southsea, Hunstanton, Benidorm, Cornwall, Jersey, Aberdeen, Aberfoyle, Potter Heigham, Bourton on the Water, Keswick, Calella, Budleigh Salterton, Paignton, Shrewsbury, Alassio, Pembroke, Rochdale, Dartmouth, Chichester, France, Saundersfoot, Sussex, Corvara, Scarborough, Clacton, Brixham, Prince Edward Island, Sidmouth, Ryde, Middlesboro, and Dunoon.
