This flow blue plate features Wedgwood's Bluebell Border and dates to around 1903. The blank for the plate may have been manufactured earlier.
This plate is one of four featuring the Bluebell border and it is for the month of March.
The rear of the plate has a collector's note written on masking tape that interprets the impressed date code.
It measures 10 1/4" in diameter.
It is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
This plate is from the Months of the Year series designed by Helen J.A. Miles. Wedgwood produced this series in flow blue plates, flow blue and polychrome trivet tiles, as well as polychrome plates.
