Early David Andersen Norway Enamel Sterling Spoons - 11 - Demitasse or Coffee Spoons
This set of 11 spoons features a classic David Andersen pattern done in 'Tiffany' blue with scrolling wire design throughout.
The spoons measure 3 3/4" and are in excellent condition.
Along with contemporaries, Marius Hammer of Bergen, Norway (Andersen is from Oslo) and others from other lands (Tiffany, Faberge to name just two) David Andersen founded and led the field in beautiful enamel and other silver works. The pattern on these spoons is often found on both his and Hammer's tea strainers, coffee spoons, tongs, etc.
These bear the early David Andersen mark (looks like a pitch fork set on its side) which dates from 1888-1925.
Priced at only $38.00 each.
