Rare Horseshoe Shaped Liquor Decanter in Heavy Cut Crystal
Perfect for the festivities of this month and next, this liquor decanter would make the best ever gift to your pony loving friend!
Shaped like a horseshoe, this decanter is deeply and finely cut crystal. It weighs in at 4 1/2 pounds!
With the stopper in place it is 9 3/4" tall, 6" across at the shoulder, and 3 1/2 deep at the widest. It is 5" x 2 1/2" at the base.
The designer/maker specified a beautifully complimenting ovoid shaped stopper which fits perfectly. The horseshoe shape is widest at the shoulder and then tapers inward. The front and back centers pinch inwards so you can grip the decanter firmly. Likewise, the grooved cuts on the sides allow for a sure grip.
The base is ground perfectly flat and smooth.
Except for the one chip on the bottom edge shown in the last photo (enlarged greatly), the piece is in very good condition but is priced to allow you to have your local glass grinder make a repair. Ours is no longer practicing and we have no one to go to for such work any more! Priced accordingly.
