This is 4" of dark pink cut to white Chinese cameo glass, also called 'peking glass'.
It is very old, ca. early 1800s. It features a slightly splayed foot, and a few black pin spots(ashes) in the white glass. Additionally, as you can see by the foot, some of the red 'ran'. Except for the wide ring on the base and the thin ring where the foot meets the vase, the color is a deep pink, rather than red.
It features prunus flowers, as well as water lily, and a butterfly - zeroing in on one of the flowers and making a nose-down dive towards it!
No chips, cracks, repairs. The diameter of the foot is only 1 1/4" and at the top of the vase, 1 5/8".
This is a small but beautiful early specimen of the early art of the Chinese glassmakers.
