Extraordinary Shelley Oleander Shaped Summer Glory Hydrangea Chintz Cup and Saucer Mauve Pink Hydrangea Pattern
Oh my! How pretty is this? Fabulous!
This very rare and highly sought after chintz pattern is here found in another highly sought after form - an oleander shaped cup and saucer! Hydrangeas are scattered all over.
The beautiful color is somewhere between a lavender, mauve, or pink! Those familiar with it know just how unique this shade of purple actually is in person. Yummy!
With gold edging, handle, and foot, this cup and saucer has everything going for it including its excellent condition.
One of the photos shows the cup and saucer along with a matching 8" plate which is listed separately (may or may not still be available - please inquire if interested) as not everyone needs the plate or vica versa.
Please note that the 6th photo shows what we have chosen to call a pencil-point sized "pimple" on the edge of the cup. Not a pretty word, but it is probably the most accurate.
This is a manufacturing anamoly and not a damage of any kind. It was found by running the tips of our fingers over the edge and after examining it with a magnifying glass and "pinging" the cup, we are 100% certain that this is as stated - nothing more than a teensy tiny pinpoint bump (or pimple). We wouldn't consider asking as much money for this cup if we didn't believe this to be true. You be the judge - enlarge the photos and see for yourself! Its position directly opposite the handle means that it would never touch the lips of anyone drinking from the cup.
