This charger measures 12 1/4" in diameter and has a central scene of a courting couple surrounded by little vignettes of playful angels all around the border. Please view all the photos to see the details. Ca. 1890-1900. The charger is in excellent condition with no damages whatsoever - no chips, no cracks, no repairs, etc. There are two hallmarks on the back. One is the mark of Blakeman & Henderson who were active in the period of the 1890s to early 1900s and appear to have imported Limoges porcelains into the USA. They commissioned the decoration, which was always of very high quality. The other mark is probably of the Limoges manufacturer which is a known Limoges mark of an unidentified maker.
