Georgian Period 14K Gold Mourning Brooch Pin with Enamel
This item is a small pin/brooch/pendant dating from the Georgian period (1714-1837). As I think you can see clearly in the photo, the central glass piece encloses a lock of braided hair and it is surrounded by the enamel words "In Memory Of". Excellent condition as you can see. Please enlarge the photo to see the dimensions. It tests (strongly) for 14K and may in fact be 15K gold.
Please note that the two last photos were done with a flashlight focused on the center area to better show it.
