Lovely large Limoges cachepot features red, pink and white roses in bloom and with buds on one side and yellow rose blooms and buds on the reverse side with earth tones. The piece sits on four feet and has a porcelain handle in the mold on the sides. There is a gold rim around the top and the piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or other issues. Measurements are 10 1/2" high, 9" across the top, the top opening is almost 8" by 4 1/2". The cachepot was made by William Guerin ("W G & CO.") and is appropriately marked to show that it was made between 1891 and 1900.
