Excellent condition and beautifully decorated Phoenix Glass Company Gone with the Wind oil lamp has been converted to electricity. It measures about 22 1/2 " to the top of the painted round globe with about 4 3/4" added to the top of the chimney. The globe is about 10" across. The pink background has hand painted vivid roses surrounded by green foliage and branches. The shade holder is marked "Pat. 101997 and 591984". The shade holder was patented with this number by the Phoenix Glass Company of Monaca, Pennsylvania. The shade holder when rotated left to right has a swinging arm that presses against the shade to keep it from being knocked off. Texas residents to pay 8 1/4% sales tax or provide exemption information.
