Made by Charles Field Haviland between 1870 and 1882 this porcelain plaque measures 6 1/2" by 4 5/8" and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or other issues. It comes in what appears to be its original gesso and wood gilded frame that is in good to very good condition. The frame measures 12 5/8" by 10 3/4". Some of the gesso is missing (about 6" and 1" by 1/4" on one side and 3 1/2 by 1/4" on the other side) as well and about 8 total inches of gesso on the inside edge of the frame on the outer most part of the frame. This could easily be touched up to show even less than it does now but we will leave that to the purchaser since some feel that minor imperfections add to the charm and character of such older pieces.
