Cobalt Blue, Gold & Floral Ansonia Clock - 1881
Rare Victorian Ansonia Clock Co. clock in cobalt blue with gold trim and flowers has patented June 14, 1881 New York U S A on the brass works, the face of the porcelain face has Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York, United States of America. The piece measures 13 1/4" across, 5 1/2" deep and 11" high. It is in overall very good to excellent condition and runs great. It has one tiny chips with white showing through a very small spot on the side of the front foot on the right (look closely in the fourth photo to see). On the left side there is a small area chipped off about midway up the side of the clock. Prior to us receiving the clock someone touched this up with a slightly lighter color of blue. The clock case is marked Rebel. Pick up only on this piece since shipping would make it impossible to guarantee it would work on arrival. Texas residents to pay 8 1/4% sales tax or provide exemption information.
