We have received an impressive collection of American Brilliant Cut (ABC) Glass from a fine Texas estate that will be offered in several new listings. This listing is for a pair of Sinclaire cruets with underplates. The cruets and stoppers are marked as shown with an “S” in a wreath. Sinclaire cut glass was made by H. P. Sinclaire and Company of Corning, New York, between 1904 and 1929. The underplates while unmarked fit perfectly and have the same center cut pattern featured on the cruets. The underplates measure 5 inches across on the outside and 4 3/4” on the inside. The base of each cruet is 4 5/8” across and they are 6” high. The stoppers are hollow with a lovely notched pattern around the middle. The cruets have a combination of cuts and etchings. Note that photo #4 has a reflection of my hand and the camera which looks like a dark spot on the right side of the underplate. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or damage on the pieces and they are very clear with no discoloration. Any yellow shown in the photos is from lighting and is not on the actual pieces. There are a few small scratches on the bottom of the underplates and cruets but nothing to detract from the beauty of the pieces.
