Gorgeous Herend Green Border Queen Victoria Footed Cream Soup Bowl and saucer set is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or gold wear. This china pattern was first presented during the London World Exhibition in 1851. Queen Victoria saw the pattern and ordered a large table service for Windsor Castle. The pattern was subsequently named Queen Victoria in 1966 and became one of Herend's most popular designs. The saucer measures about 7" across. The soup bowl is 5 3/8" across, 6 3/4" across the handles, and 2" high. We also have a large soup tureen in this pattern listed from a fine Texas estate. Herend still offers this set for $275 for the soup bowl and $135 for the saucer. Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases.
