We are offering stems of Thistle, which is a heavy gold encrusted pattern that was introduced by St. Louis in 1913. It is an active pattern but new pieces cost substantially more than the price at which ours is being offered. The condition of these fine Texas estate pieces is outstanding with no signs of use. Note that due to reflections and the trouble with focus through clear glass some of my photos make the glass look cloudy but in person the stem and bowl are very clear (see photo 5 that shows how clear the glass really is). Your satisfaction is guaranteed. The burgundy wine stems offered are heavily gold encrusted around the rim and also the solid band foot. The same size stem is offered with an open gold pattern which is less desirable. This lovely pattern has a thin fine optic bowl, cut notched multisided stem, and etched highlights on the base just inside the gold and just below the gold rim. This is the burgundy wine goblet. It is about 6 1/4 or 6 3/8 " tall and has a bowl opening of about 3 1/4". The stem is signed on the base with “Cristal St. Louis France” in a circle on the base. The goblet is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The price listed is for one stem and you can buy up to the number remaining in this listing. Shipping and insurance will be combined and charged at actual to save you money. We have other pieces available in this pattern. Please e-mail us with any questions.
